Plimhimmon Group adds South and Lear to Advisory Board

Steve South and Clyde Lear have been retained to serve as Advisory Board Members

Chevy Chase, Maryland, November 15, 2009 – The Plimhimmon Group, LLC, a principal investment firm headquartered in Chevy Chase, Maryland, has announced the addition of two new members to its Advisory Board: Steve South, of Monument, Colorado, and Clyde Lear, of Jefferson City, Missouri.

“The Plimhimmon Group is thrilled to welcome Steve and Clyde. They have been friends and mentors for almost a decade, and I’m honored they are willing to join me as we grow the Plimhimmon Group,” said Brian Murphy, President, Plimhimmon Group.

The purpose of the Plimhimmon Group’s Advisory Board is to shepherd Plimhimmon’s initial vision, to oversee and advise Plimhimmon in present and future investments, and to ensure Plimhimmon’s unwavering adherence to its core principles. The board meets each calendar quarter.

Steve South received his J.D. degree from George Mason University School of Law and has spent most of his professional career working in the political and the non-profit world. He is currently serving as Vice President at the CEO Forum, Inc., in Colorado Springs. Steve and his wife, Cheryl, are parents of four adult children.

Clyde Lear is a journalist by training, and the Founder of Learfield Communications, a national media company headquartered in Jefferson City, Missouri. Clyde holds an AB from Central Methodist College, and an MA from the University of Missouri. Clyde and his wife, Sue, are passionate about mentoring young people in their hometown, throughout the United States, and around the world. Clyde serves on several boards and civic organizations, and he and his wife are the proud parents of three adult children.
